Submission Policy
I am a participant in the Ferguson Library’s Pandemic Stories collection. I understand that the purpose of the Quarantine Stories collection is to collect personal responses and reactions to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as selected related documentary materials, such as photographs, for inclusion in the permanent collection of the Ferguson Library.
I hereby grant to the Ferguson Library, including its officers and employees acting on behalf of the Ferguson Library, at no cost, the perpetual, nonexclusive, transferable, worldwide rights to use, reproduce, transmit, display, perform, prepare derivative works from, distribute, and authorize the redistribution of the story text recorded and other documentary materials.
I hereby release the Ferguson Library, and its trustees and employees acting on behalf of the Ferguson Library, from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of my recording(s), transcribed interview(s), and documentary materials, including but not limited to any claims for copyright infringement, defamation, invasion of privacy, or right of publicity.
I represent that I am the sole holder of the copyright for the selected documentary materials and have the legal right and power to grant the Ferguson Library the rights granted above. I shall retain the complete and unrestricted right to reproduce, publish, broadcast, transmit, perform, or adapt the submission myself. The Ferguson Library will clearly identify the authorship and copyright holder of the material when publishing the material, unless the submitter expressed their interest to remain private or anonymous.
I acknowledge that my submission does not contain anything that is commercial, off-topic, partisan-political, contains personal attacks or expletives, or is otherwise abusive, threatening, unlawful, harassing, discriminatory, libelous, obscene, false, pornographic, or that infringes the rights of any third party.
