This house was purchased by the Ferguson Library in the sumer of 1889 and fitted for permanent use. The library moved from here to its new building, corner of Broad and Bedford Streets. September 1911.

Right side of building- Broad street. Handwritten note on back of photograph says: My room in rear. Hope to have view of my room. Nice large room 26 ft long. 2 beautiful oriental rugs. Taken about 1918-20.
