A photograph of Woolen Mill Ruins.<br><br> "On Tuesday, June 8, 1886, the Mill was destroyed by a fire, which began at 9 p.m. in a second floor spinning room. The loss estimated at $150,000 was covered by insurance of $122,5000, and The Harding-Smith Company did not resume business.
