Description
(Sherwood) Mrs. Phoebe Crabbs, who died about 1900 at the age of 103 years. This picture was made just before her one-hundredth birthday. She was a lifelong member of the Congregational Church and so active in her later years that she lived alone on Davenport Ridge when 97 years old. Probably no inhabitant of Stamford has ever exceeded her age.
