Description on back of picture: "The house of Mrs. Radcliffe Hudson on West Park Place. It was over 100 years old when it was torn down in the summer of 1915, following Mrs. Hudson's death. It stood next door Town Hall Davenport on the west side. From the collection of H.F Sherwood. Not to be reproduced without Mr. Sherwood's permission. One of a group of photographs of old Stamford shown in the Exhibition Room of The Ferguson Library during the celebration of the 275th anniversary of the settlement of Stamford."
