This photograph captures the momentous Parade of Elephants, which took place in Stamford, at the corner of Main and Atlantic Streets on May 12, 1913. Also featured in the photo are the Wooden Frame Store at Canal Street, the Quintard Building, and the Union House which is visible over the Quintard Building.
