Kosciuszko Park

Kosciuszko Park is an 18-acre waterfront peninsula park that contains a wide walkway around the perimeter, which encircles ball fields and a children's playground. Narrower loop trails extend down closer to the water. It is in what used to be called the South End at the intersection of Elmcroft Road and Dyke Lane (right next to Pitney Bowes) Kosciuszko Park is named after General Thaddeus Kosciuszko, a Polish immigrant who served under General Washington during the Revolutionary War.

Activities and features include bird and wildlife, trails, walkways, athletic fields, benches, grills, picnic pavilions (permit only), picnic tables, and playgrounds. It is a quieter park than some of the bigger beach areas but still great for a relaxing and enjoying some air.
