Stamford Herald (Newspaper) Office
The Stamford Herald published from 1876 and discontinued in 1893. The offices were in the base of the pre-1904 town hall.
Central Park Fountain
In 1880, Central Park boasted a magnificent fountain. The former town hall which burned in 1904 is in the background. Erected in 1871 and dismantled 1897. Pre-1904 town hall is visible in the background. Cement, iron fence around central park.
