In 1914, the Stamford Trust Company moved its new banking house, a modern, one story, marble front building. 1928, a six story office building was superimosed on th original structure,one story of which now houses its Trust Department.

Established in 1851 the Stamford Savings Bank outgrew its original headquaters andin 1886 built and occupied the building shown in the center of the picture. it was known as the "Old Red Bank"
